Hey folks,
It finally looks like I have everything up and running here. All of the links work and all of the pages are connected so there are no dead ends.
I’ve got a lot in store for 2024 and I’m super excited to move on things.
First, with The Gift of the Guardians out and in the hands of readers, I’m putting the finishing touches on the sequel, The Blackguard’s Bond as well as the new Author’s Revised Edition of The Gift of the Guardians. Right now, I’m tentatively looking for a release as early as June.
Along those lines, I’m hard at work with the third installment of The Bard’s Heresy series. I’m currently five chapters in (though the entire novel is outlined) and I’m having a blast. I hope once it’s finished that you all will too.
Speaking of having a blast, if you, dear readers, are enjoying the first novel, I’m always looking for thoughtful folks willing to help out as beta readers. Send me an email or message me on social media if that’s something that you’d be interested in.
Finally, just want to throw a plug out for my friend Jack. Jack is a player in my regular D&D campaign and also a writer. For a long time, we talked about one of the NPC characters in our last campaign and how fun it would be to write a novel or novella about the character’s backstory. With everything I’m doing with The Bard’s Heresy series, though, I don’t have the time so I offered it up to Jack. I think he finished the first draft in something like 3 months (crazy!). Regardless, it’s called The Sapphire Spark and he’s planning to make it a trilogy called The Ballad of Balthane the Blue. Watch for an update on pre-orders, the the final release date is scheduled for April 1. It’s also worth noting that Jack’s books are not at all kid-friendly and are full of very explicit and mature content. He’s an old school pulp lover and he pulls no punches so if that’s not your thing (or you’re a minor), it’s really not for you.
That’s all for now.
Bello
